    Nutrition for the modern world.

For most of human history, food was constrained by place, season, and preparation. Modern processing and distribution loosened those constraints. Food could last longer, travel farther, and fit into lives no longer organized around preparing every meal. Convenience was real progress.

But it also allowed the different qualities of food to be engineered separately. Shelf life could improve while nutrition declined. Convenience could improve while ingredient quality declined. Products built around health could still fail on taste. Progress in one dimension no longer required progress in the others.

I started sketching Atlas in a dorm room because I wanted food that put them back together. I did not set out to start a company. I wanted something that fit into a modern day without feeling like a compromise: meaningful nutrition, ingredients selected with purpose, and taste that made eating well easy. The idea was simple. The product did not exist.

A year later, I was driving Uber to fund the company and selling bars from the trunk of my car. I was not yet sure about the business, but I was sure the product should exist.

A lot has changed since then. We have gone from making bars in my kitchen to producing at scale, from delivering orders around Boston in my car to serving customers across the country, and from selling whatever I could carry to selling millions. The standard has remained the same.

Atlas exists to make real nutrition fit modern life. Today, that means 20g protein, 10g+ fiber, 1g sugar, real ingredients, and nothing artificial.

Eating well should not require stepping backward from the world we built. The next generation of food should carry our health forward with it.
