Mind + Body Benefits
Supports Mental Wellness
You fuel your body every day. You also need to fuel your mind.
That’s why we use organic ashwagandha in every Atlas bar. This ancient super plant helps your body reduce stress, boost immunity, and improve focus. Our not-so-secret ingredient also promotes quality sleep so you can rest up and be ready to live, work, think and feel your best every single day of the week.
How is Atlas different?
What makes Atlas different is our holistic mind and body approach. On the body side, our products are packed with high protein, clean ingredients, low sugar, zero added sugar, and low net carbs. On the mind side, we use functional ingredients like ashwagandha which has science-backed benefits to help do things like improve mood, reduce stress, and reduce anxiety. We want your mind and body to thrive.
What is Ashwagandha?
Ashwagandha is an herb that's been used in India for over 5000 years to promote mental wellbeing. Modern studies have confirmed ashwagandha's unique ability to reduce stress and improve mood. That's why we make it a key ingredient in every single Atlas Bar!
Why does Grass-Fed Whey matter?
Conventional whey protein comes from feedlot-raised cows who are fed a genetically-modified corn diet. Our grass-fed whey protein comes from pasture-raised cows who are fed a grass diet, which results in a cleaner and more nutrient dense whey protein for you.
Everything you need to know about net carbs in 60 sec
Net carbs are total carbs minus the carbs that your body can't digest - like fiber. Net carbs are a measure of the carbs that actually impact your blood sugar levels. The reason why that's important is because the lower you keep your net carbs, the lower your blood sugar levels are going to be. The more low and stable your blood sugar levels, the more stable your focus, your energy and your mood are going to be. At Atlas, we design each product to have as few net carbs as possible so that you can experience those benefits.
Does the fiber in Atlas Bars contain Isomaltooligosaccharides (IMOs)?
Nope! We use a resistant starch tapioca fiber that won’t spike your blood sugar levels. It’s low glycemic and safe for people with diabetes.
Why does protein source/quality matter? (bioavailability, PDCAAS)
Not all proteins are created equal. Depending on the source of the protein, it's going to be digested differently by your body. Researchers have developed a few different ways for measuring this, one of which is called the Protein Digestibility Amino Acid Score or PDCAAS for short. This score ranges on a scale of 0 to 1 with1 being the highest. The reason that we use whey protein is because whey protein scores a perfect 1 and is one of the few proteins to do so, which means that it has maximum absorbability and usability by your body.
What is the Never List?
Our Never List is the list of ingredients that we will never use like aspartame, sucralose, and artificial colors. We don't use these ingredients because research has shown that consuming these ingredients may have negative health consequences over the long-term. You can find the full list on our site.
