When it comes to simple, nutritional advice, this may be the best that I've ever come across. Of course, there is always nuance but the essence of this equation is a focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods.

Over the past few years, I've cut almost all red meat from my diet on the basis of making a better choice for my health and planet. This book forced me to reconsider my viewpoints by making the compelling case that - compared to monocrop foods like soy, corn, and wheat - meat is actually a better choice nutritionally, environmentally, and ethically..

2. Misogi

I heard this on an interview and instantly loved the idea. Essentially, this is a really hard event that you make up for yourself and do once a year. It can be anything but needs to be something that you think you only have a 50/50 shot at completing. For example, if the longest you've ever run is 5 miles, this might be running 15 miles. I have mine planned for the fall with a friend.

3. Everything I Eat In A Day

Here's an overview of everything that I'll eat in a typical day (besides Atlas Bars 😉). Depending on what my exercise looks like that day I'll add in more or less carbs, but this will be my base almost everyday.
